Sample Point Description:
Abandoned Mine Discharge; Emanates from the abandoned (Egypt or Victor No 45) underground coal mine. Influent to the Richards Passive Treatment System. Samples collected at the discharge across the road from the splitter box. Essentially the same as sample point 452 which was the sample point used for the original treatment system.

Sample Point Description:
AMD; Originally appeared to be emanating from an old 6" terracotta pipe, possibly an old mine drain located between JVFP1 and JVFP; The AMD was not able to be directed into a JVFP; During the 2020/2021 rehabilitation project, this water was collected by French Drain and piped around the northern side of JVFP3 where it then flows into the wetland near the outlet of JVFP3.
