Description: The Laurel Run # 1 passive treatment system was originally constructed by Stream Restoration Incorporated and the Blacklick Creek Watershed Association in 2001 to treat an abandoned mine discharge in the headwaters of Laurel Run which is a tributary to Blacklick Creek. The original passive system was designed by BioMost, Inc and constructed by Amerikohl Mining. The system was redesigned by BioMost in 2024. Construction was completed by Joe Puryear in early 2025.
