    A passive treatment system was constructed around 2001 to treat three abandoned mine discharges identified as BRD03, BRD04, and BRD08. The treatment system is located in between State Route 3007 and Beaver Run. The system consists of an aerobic wetland (possibly amended with limestone) and a horizontal flow limestone bed.
